9 Inch and 7.5 Inch L-Hinges Dollhouse Hardware Pack

Designed and produced by Real Good Toys; the L-Hinges are the perfect solution for hinging an opening-panel on a dollhouse. These hinges are optimized for 3/8 thick walls and allow the screws to enter the wood from the inside face in both the Sidewall and the Frontwall, or, with a strip on the edge of the opening panel, from the edge (as shown in the photos of a hinged-bay-wall set). This gives the strongest orientation for hinge-support and attachment, and yet they are very subtle from the outside, blending in better than other hinging styles.

The 9" L-Hinge and 7 1/2" L-Hinge Dollhouse Hardware Pack includes 1 of each length L-Hinge and screws. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Choose an L-Hinge length equal to or smaller than the floor-to-ceiling of the room, and make sure the Top-Front strip width is accommodated in your plan (the top hinge is often 1" or so shorter than the rest so the Front will swing underneath the Front Roof... you can cut the L-Hinge shorter with a hack saw if your space doesn't match one of the sizes offered). Plan for one hinge on a single-story opening like an addition or bay, two hinges for 2 or 3 story fronts, or 3 hinges (!) - a wonderful thing to behold (see the photos of the opulent use of hinges in the Eastside style dollhouse) when you want the maximum in support and symmetry on a tall opening panel.
