Did you enjoy putting puzzles together or playing with blocks when you were a kid?  Real Good Toys is ready to return to that carefree time in our lives with our NEW 2012 Facebook Build-Along Project.

 

The NEW Puzzle Dollhouse Kit consists of 70 pieces and offers various sizes of rectangles and triangles in 1/4” and 3/8” thick MDF (medium density fiberboard).  The (2) floor panels measure (1/4”) 12 13/16” by 8 31/32”.  These pieces can be arranged to create many different styles of dollhouses as well as varying roof designs. 

 

This project can be as simple or as detailed as you choose.  Each kit will have a parts list and a sample block layout page to get you started.  We’re positive, once you start playing with these puzzle pieces, you will really start to think outside … the blocks!

 

Jodi & Jen plan to use two kits each.  Once they started arranging the parts and new ideas started rolling, they realized that one set of blocks would work just fine but two sets will be a lot more fun and a create a lot more options for customizing!  The possibilities are truly endless.

 

Invite your spouse, friends, co-workers, children, grandchildren, miniature club and grandparents … Share the experience and the fun along with Jodi & Jen on our very active Facebook Page.  If you aren’t on Facebook, don’t fret, you can still take part in our adventure.  We will send updates in our monthly email newsletters as well as post finished pictures in our Photo Gallery on the Real Good Toys website.  However, we strongly recommend logging into Facebook from our homepage and clicking “LIKE” at the top of the page.  The participation is half the fun!

 

Remember, the RGT Facebook Build-Along Project is not a contest.  It’s simply a fun way to stay connected with the mini community, stretch your mini imagination, receive fabulous support and share creative new ideas.  This project also offers tons of encouragement instantly by sharing your work with fellow fans.

 

This year we’ll begin our project on February 1^st, 2012 and would like to receive finished photos by June 1^st, 2012.  Please submit digital pictures of your completed Build-Along project via email to jennifer@realgoodtoys.com.  Please send up to 5 photos (as JPG attachments) along with a mini note describing your project.  We will include all finished photos received in one photo album, which will be posted on our Facebook page as well as the Photo Gallery on our website.

 

Recommended Supplies: Ruler or Tape Measure, Spackle, Pencil, Paint, White Glue (like Aleene’s Tacky Glue), Panel Cement or Hot Glue Gun (if you decide to shingle), Paint/Foam Brushes, 320 Grit Sandpaper, Masking Tape, Utility Knife and/or a Fine Tooth Saw.

 

All Windows, doors, trims, shingles and window boxes are sold separately.
