The following is a snapshot of our Real Good Toys family. As a group of individuals, we have shared our working lives for a long time. The average RGT employee has worked here for over 18 years. We are loyal, caring and value teamwork.

Jim & Chris

Owners, Jim & Chris were a young couple with a new baby when they entered the dollhouse business hoping to make a living that would support the Vermont lifestyle they dreamed of.

Now, more than 35 years and 4 grandchildren later… still living the dream!

Jen

As our Operations Manager, Jen wears many hats. She is a multitasking wizard who makes things happen on line and over the phone. Jen spends lots of time with her chocolate lab "Ozzy" & family at sporting events and on outdoor adventures.

Jodi

Jodi recently celebrated 20 years as Real Good Toys' Office Manager. Ever attentive to Customer Service and detail, you can feel her pleasant smile whenever you call. A great cook with lots of friends, Jodi and her husband enjoy summer camping.

Gary

For 30 years Gary has not only managed our woodworking facility and factory production; he has designed and built hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollhouse prototypes and contributed in every major way to Real Good Toys' success. From the safety of our employees to the heirloom quality of each dollhouse part, it’s hard to imagine RGT without him.

Brian

As one of RGT’s Woodworking Captains, Brian oversees the milling of our clapboard siding. Having worked here more than 20 years, he is skilled in all of the woodworking tasks and factory processes. Brian is a Sergeant in the VT National Guard and has served our country in Iraq. He is a "Harley-Davidson" enthusiast.

Sharon

Who organizes all those itsy bitsy dollhouse parts? As Packing Captain, Sharon makes sure they all get in the box and RGT has relied on her productive enthusiasm for over 26 years. A great team leader and problem solver, Sharon has decorated the packing department walls with posters of the horses she loves.

Jim

Jim is the "go to" guy when anything extra needs to get done. He has that valuable "can do" attitude. An RGT Woodworking Captain since 1991 and expert router, Jim now oversees all of our warehousing, adjustments and plant maintenance. On Thursday nights you can often find him at the "Thunder Road" car races.

Mike, aka "Hawkeye"

An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Mike skillfully cuts molding and shingles. He has worked for RGT since 1995. Mike is known throughout the shop for his efficiency, eye for quality and quick smile. He is a veteran, local sheriff and forest fire warden.

Sue

Sue is Captain of our Assembly Department. From log cabins and lighthouses to elaborate victorian mansions, she oversees the detail and craftsmanship that goes into each and every finished dollhouse model produced here. Sue has contributed her artistic talent to RGT for 19 years. In her spare time Sue nurtures a loving pack of cocker spaniels.

John, Julio & Pat
This group of Seniors is known as the “Westview Meadows Crafters”. They volunteer their expertise finishing RGT dollhouses for worthwhile charities and nonprofits in Central Vermont. Since 2005 they have painstakingly finished a dollhouse every month which has been used as a fundraiser for various good causes. Our collaboration has been a “win-win” relationship and so far dollhouses have raised more than $60,000 for local organizations.
