2009 - Room Box Contest
“Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer!”
Remember that great old Nat King Cole song? When we heard it the other day, we knew it would be the perfect theme for our NEW Room Box Contest! The prizes are great so DON’T WAIT! Get started with any one of RGT’s three basic room box kits and let your imagination go wild!!!
Anything goes! Think of all the possibilities... beach scenes, a hot dog stand, swim suit store, drive-in movie, baseball dugout, vegetable garden, ice cream vendor… there’s no limit to your creative ideas!
CONTEST RULES:
Begin by purchasing an RGT Traditional Room Box #RB, a Room Display #R1015 or a Front Opening Display Case #9FODC at your local miniature shop or online.
Build and then decorate the kit according to the “Summertime Theme” using products and miniatures from your local miniature store, online miniature retailers or create some yourself. You may change, alter or add to the kit in any way. You may incorporate landscaping or other exterior decoration.
When your project is completed, submit 3 high-quality digital photos of your summertime room box design to contestwinner@realgoodtoys.com. Entries must be received by August 15, 2009. Include your name, address & phone number and a brief description. All photos will become the property of Real Good Toys. They will be posted on the RGT website for everyone to enjoy!
Entries will be judged on craftsmanship, design and originality by RGT’s experienced staff. The winners will be announced during the last week of August.
