Charitable Giving

Real Good Toys is known for its charitable gifts.

Like most businesses, we receive numerous inquiries and requests for donations, within Vermont and from other states as well.  We found this to be a very rewarding experience and it also prompted us to devise a donation policy for our retailers so they could take advantage of the opportunities that arise from the donation process.  We figured the stores who sell our products should benefit from the free advertising that usually goes hand in hand with donations.  This policy has been well used over the years.  It also allowed RGT to really focus on donations within the state of Vermont.  It really gave us a sense of helping OUR community.

Then something wonderful happened...RGT partnered with a fantastic group of people - the Westview Meadows Senior Crafters (aka The Dollhouse Builders of Westview Meadows).  For many years, RGT has been donating the dollhouse kits to these fine builders and they in turn, build, paint, decorate and sometimes even electrify the dollhouses.  They then donate them to a worthwhile non-profit organization or charity.

RGT, in conjunction with the Westview Meadows Senior Crafters, have helped raise many thousands of dollars for Senior Citizen Groups, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House, Make a Wish Foundation, Home Health & Hospice, National Association of the Mentally Ill, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, Local Libraries, Historical Societies, Veterans Organizations, Humane Societies, Battered Women's Shelters, Children's Aide Societies and more...this is absolutely wonderful for everybody involved, not to mention the "feel great" moments you get when you make someone else's dreams come true!
